Meet Your Hosts
Ex-farming couple, Sako & Andrew France and four legged family members have down sized to a 20 ha farmlet.
Biology/Linguistics background Tokyo girl met a true blue Kiwi Farmer. Since then we share our love for animals and nature. We are registered Wire Fox Terrier breeders and now working together on a native bush restoration/recreation project.
We have extensive local knowledge and will be happy to provide advice about attractions and sightseeing opportunities in the greater Dunedin area.
FRANZA FARM
Only 3.4km direct distance to Orokonui Ecosanctuary, an easy distance for the native birds, our home is part of their habitat, delightfully singing around our house. Highland Cattle, Belted Galloways, Milking Cows, Sheep, Goats, Fallow Deer, Alpacas, KuneKune Pigs, Ducks, Chickens, Dogs and Cats happily live together. There's never a dull moment here.
